Purpose of the Program

During the holy month of Ramadan, Prashanti Somaj Kalyan Songstha organized a food distribution program to support underprivileged and fasting families in Gaibandha Sadar.

The purpose of this initiative was:

• To ensure that struggling families can observe Ramadan with dignity
• To provide essential food items for Iftar and Sehri
• To reduce the financial burden on low-income households
• To promote compassion, unity, and social responsibility

Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and unity. Through this program, P.S.K.S. stood beside humanity. Ramadan teaches us empathy and generosity. Through this program, we aimed to share the blessings of the holy month with those in need.

Through this initiative:

• Many underprivileged families received essential food support
• Fasting individuals were able to break their fast with dignity
• Financial pressure on vulnerable households was reduced
• Community solidarity and goodwill were strengthened

The smiles and heartfelt prayers from beneficiaries remind us that small acts of kindness create lasting change.

• Future Plans

Prashanti Somaj Kalyan Songstha is committed to expanding its Ramadan support programs in the coming years. Our future plans include:

• Increasing the number of beneficiary families
• Distributing full Ramadan food packages for the entire month
• Arranging community Iftar programs
• Launching Zakat-based support initiatives
• Partnering with donors and well-wishers for larger outreach

We aim to make every Ramadan a month of hope, dignity, and shared blessings for vulnerable communities.
